Parking Lot E is located off of Aviation Boulevard, 2 miles from the LAX Airport. The address is 5455 W 111th Street, which is near the exits of the 105 and 405 freeways. There are 2,690 parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. The parking lot is uncovered, paved, and well-lit. The parking area is always open and the shuttle service is a 24-hour operation.
When you arrive, pull up to the gated entrance and take a ticket. Park your car and make your way to the nearest bus stop station. Courtesy shuttles arrive approximately every 15 minutes. The shuttle circles the parking lot, stopping at every bus stop in each section of the parking lot. The journey to the airport can take between 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Find real-time shuttle information on their website.
At the airport, the shuttle stops at each terminal to pick-up and drop-off passengers. The Pink Shuttle Zone on the Lower/Arrival's level is the designated drop-off/pick-up area. Look for the PINK LAX Shuttle sign in front of each terminal. The shuttle service is complimentary for travellers who have parked at Economy Lot E. For travellers with disabilities, there are handicapped parking spaces and the shuttles are equipped with a lift for wheelchairs. If you leave an item on the shuttle, email parking@lawa.org or call 310-893-4676.
Although LAX Airport parking rates are notoriously expensive, Lot E offers a more affordable solution. The cost of parking at Economy Lot E is $4 per hour (or fraction thereof), up to a daily maximum of $12 per 24 hours. For example, if you need parking for 50 hours, then the total would be $32: $24 for the first 48 hours, then $8 for the additional two hours. Monthly parking is not possible at Lot E. Vehicles are not permitted to park longer than 30 days.
Cash, all major credit cards, and mobile payments are accepted. This includes Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover, Apple Pay®, Google Wallet®, Samsung Pay®.
One major drawback to Parking Lot E is the time it takes to get to the Terminal Loop at LAX due to traffic delays around the airport. As Lot E is located 2 miles from LAX, transit times can exceed 30 minutes. If you are looking for an affordable, secure, and convenient parking alternative, then private parking providers might be your answer. There are several parking facilities within a mile of the airport that offer covered parking, excellent customer service, and short transit times to LAX. Check out the following alternatives to Lot E below:
Airport Center Express is located 0.3 miles from LAX Airport, so the shuttles take less than 2 minutes to reach the LAX Terminal Loop. The covered parking facility is secured by 24-hour parking attendants, a locked perimeter, and a gated entrance.
WallyPark Express LAX is another great parking option, located less than a mile from LAX Airport. The shuttles run every 5 minutes and the transit time only takes 3 minutes to the Terminal Loop. The covered parking garage is secured by CCTV surveillance, gated entrance, and a locked perimeter. There are even “WallyGuards” between each parking space to prevent door dings. The emphasis on security makes WallyPark Express one of the most popular choices.
All the rates cited are approximate and subject to change. Estimations were taken for stays in January 2024. Please note that it is not possible to book at any of the official LAX Airport parking options on our platform.
