There are several options available for those looking for CLT parking within walking distance. Parking within walking is very close to the airport so that there is no need for a shuttle. You will park your car yourself, then walk with your luggage into the terminal. This option is typically best for short term parking because the parking rates are very high. Travellers should know their departure terminal before parking in order to choose the parking garage nearest to their gate. It is a good idea to write down the parking information so that it is not forgotten upon return. The parking garages take both cash and card. Valet Parking is a great way to save time and hassle at the airport. A valet will take care of your car so that you do not have to worry about finding parking. Some valet options meet you at the curbside terminal, but others provide valet parking at the entrance of a parking garage. A driver will meet you to collect your car keys and then park your car for you. On your return, they will drive your car back to the airport and meet you.
