What we stand for
At Parkfellows we operate according to a number of principles we consider important. Our platform informs and assists you, the traveler, in comparing and booking reliable, high-quality airport parking. Our main goal: to help you find the right parking space, so you can travel with peace of mind.
How it started
In 2012, Jeroen, owner and founder of ParkMundo, noticed problems in the airport parking market. Stories about damaged cars, cars parked in nearby residential areas instead of the promised secure parking spaces, and cars that had been driven many extra kilometres regularly appeared in the media. This got him thinking....
He began an in-depth investigation into airport parking in the Netherlands. The results were decisive for him: at parking lots near Schiphol Airport, among other places, consumers were being seduced and misled with rates as low as €1.80 per day. This led to his plan to put an end to this and help consumers find not only affordable but also reliable parking.
A year later – in 2013 – the Vliegen en Parkeren platform was launched: a website where reliable parking offers can be compared based on transparent pricing and quality. Following the success of the Dutch platform, the company expanded into other markets and now operates globally.
