Located off of McCain Road, Terminal 2 Parking Lot offers an uncovered, paved, and secure parking area. If you are looking for a quick parking spot near Terminal 2 at the San Diego Airport, then this is the best spot. There are plenty of spaces within just a few steps of the airline check-in counters. Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not possible for the Terminal 2 Lot.
The Terminal 2 Parking Lot offers free parking for 10 minutes, which is ideal for picking-up loved ones from International Arrivals. Hourly rates are available for the first 24 hours, then the daily rate is charged every 24 hours thereafter. The cost of parking at Terminal 2 Parking Lot is $38 per day.

Automated exit lanes make leaving the Terminal 2 Parking Lot quick and convenient. The exit lanes are unattended, so they only accept credit/debit cards, no cash. You may pay for parking using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner’s Club.
If you wish to pay with cash, then you must stop at a payment kiosk in the parking lot before you exit. Pay at the kiosk, then present the ticket at the automated machines on your way out.
The San Diego Airport offers covered parking at the Terminal 2 Parking Plaza. With over 2900 parking spaces, it’s a great choice for quick access to the terminals. A covered walkway protects you from the elements as you make your way to departures. There are even 16 EV charging stations for your convenience.

If you choose to pay the drive-up rates, then you will take a ticket from the machine when you arrive. Upon exiting the parking facility, pull up to the exit lane machines to pay with credit or debit card. Cashier-less exit lanes process payment automatically for a quick and convenient departure. You may pay with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner’s Club. Cash payments are not accepted at the automated exit lanes. To pay with cash, stop at the kiosks in the parking facility before exiting.
If you choose to pre-pay for a parking spot at the Terminal 2 Parking Plaza, then be sure to bring a copy of your reservation confirmation (provided via email). When you pull up to the parking facility, scan the QR code on the confirmation email from your mobile device. If there is an issue with the scanner, then take a ticket and upon your exit, present both the ticket and the reservation confirmation to the parking staff. Do not pay for the parking ticket via the payment kiosk, or this will result in a duplicate payment.
Curbside Valet provides the ultimate time-saving parking option at SAN Airport. Simply pull up to the curbside valet kiosk at Terminal 2 and hand over your keys to the professional valet. They will park your car for you while you continue on to the departures area. Curbside Valet is advantageous for business travellers looking to park as quickly as possible.
Curbside Valet parking is the most expensive parking option. The cost of Curbside Valet is $40 per day and $280 per week.
Reserve curbside valet parking in advance to save money and streamline the process. You will reserve a reservation confirmation email with all parking details. Access the confirmation email on your mobile phone and show it to the parking staff upon arrival.
