The Economy Lots provide transportation to both terminals, so you don't need to worry about where to park. Lot E has direct access to the Airport Transit System (ATS), a light rail station that provides convenient access to and from the airport. Lot G runs shuttles every 10 minutes that bring passengers to Lot E so they can ride the ATS to the airport. Lot F has a 24-hour shuttle that connects directly to the airport terminals.
ORD Lot G is located on the west side of Bessie Coleman Drive, across the street from the Multi-Modal Facility. This lot is popular for business travellers, so it is frequently full during weekdays. Check the parking status before you go via the Chicago O'Hare International Airport website. Upon arrival, drivers pull up to the barrier entrance and take a ticket from the machine. Pull into the parking lot and find an open parking spot. Walk to the front of the parking lot to catch the shuttle. Since the ATS is closed for renovations, a shuttle bus drives directly from Lot G to the ORD domestic and international terminals. When the ATS returns to service in early 2020, the shuttle buses will deliver passengers to Lot E, where they will board the ATS to the terminals.
ORD Lot E is located on the east side of Bessie Coleman Drive, just 2 miles from the O'Hare Airport. It is slightly more expensive than Lot G because it is closer to the airport and has direct access to the ATS. When you arrive at Lot E, you will take a ticket from the cashier. Then, you will pull into the parking lot to find a parking spot and keep your car keys with you. Walk to the front of the parking lot to catch the shuttle to the domestic and international terminals. When the new ATS is completed, you will be able to hop onto the train to take you to your terminal.
ORD Lot F is located on floors 4 and 5 of the Multi-Modal Facility, just off of W. Zemke Blvd. It is in the same complex as the rental car companies. You must go down to the ground level to catch the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle will have a digital sign that displays "Rental Cars/Parking Lot F." It is the only covered option for economy parking at the O'Hare Airport.
