Airlines Parking Detroit is located off I-94, just 1.5 miles from the DTW terminals. Free shuttle service to the airport takes just 5 minutes. Shuttles run on-demand, 24h per day, so you never have to wait. The parking area is secured by a locked perimeter fence, gated entrance, and 24-hour surveillance. At just $6.50 per day, DTW Airlines Parking is an easy choice for parking.
Green Lots 1 & 2 are the official DTW economy lots and charge a flat daily rate of $14 per day. The parking area is uncovered, so there is no height restriction. Courtesy shuttles depart every 10 minutes and make stops at the North Terminal, McNamara Terminal, and the Westin Hotel. Hourly or partial day rates are not possible.
If you park in the long-term area, each additional or partial day is a $20 flat rate for 24 hours. Compare the prices below for short and long-term parking at the DTW Big Blue Deck. Long term parking is better for overnight trips. Follow the overhead signs as you pull into the garage to find the proper entrance for your stay.
The McNamara Parking Garage has both short and long-term parking areas. If you plan to park overnight, then you should enter the garage through the long-term parking entrance in order to avoid paying higher fees. In the long-term parking area, each additional or partial day is automatically charged the daily maximum, which is $28.00.
Big Blue Deck parking rates start at $4.00 for the first 30 minutes, then $6.00 for one hour, $7.00 for 1.5 hours, $8.00 for 2 hours, $12.00 for 3 hours, and so on until the daily maximum is reached. Short term parking at the Big Blue Deck costs $38 per day and long-term parking costs just $16.00 per day. Short term parking is intended only for a few hours, as the rates get a lot higher for daily parking.
The short-term parking spots are ideal for picking up or dropping off loved ones at the airport as they are closer to the airport entrance. Hourly parking at the McNamara Parking Garage starts at $4.00 for 30 minutes, $6.00 for 1 hour, $7.00 for 1.5 hours, $8.00 for 2 hours, $12.00 for 3 hours, and so on until the daily maximum is reached. Short term parking charges $38 per 24 hours, while long-term parking only costs $26 per 24 hours.
Valet services are available only at McNamara Terminal on the Departures Level. Simply pull up to the kiosk, drop off your car, and go! Your vehicle will be secured under covered parking on Level 6 of the McNamara Parking Garage. Payment is collected upon your return. Payment methods include cash, credit card, Google Pay, Apple Wallet, or Valet Text N Go. DTW valet parking rates start at $12 for up to two hours, then increase $4 per hour, up to the daily maximum of $45 per day. After 24 hours, each additional day is charged a flat rate of $45.
